Robert Moses State Park Field 4

Robert Moses Field 4 is similar to Robert Moses Field 2. There are lifeguards in the swimming areas during the open season. There is an area for Surfing/Boogie boarding and Surf Fishing.

Robert Moses State Park is 48 miles from Manhattan, via Southern State Parkway to Robert Moses Causeway (exit 40), south to Park at western end of Fire Island. Once you reach the pencil, veer around it towards the left. Field 4 is the first beach on the left (beach side).*** This beach was closed for most of 2011 due to erosion.
